Mary Washington Hospital’s labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum unit has a full range of maternity services for expectant and new parents, including lactation and education services, and childbirth education classes.

Our Registered Ultrasonographer uses a state of the art Samsung Ultrasound system to provide detailed and accurate images for our providers and patients. Our imaging services include a full range of sonograms from complete fetal surveys to gynecologic diagnostic procedures.

We use the latest in medical real-time 3D- and 4D-scanners to provide a continuous image of your baby on our 32 inch high-definition LCD screen, allowing us to monitor his/her health and the progress of your pregnancy.

We are accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) in both Obstetric and Gynecology ultrasound examinations. We follow the recommended policies, practice standards, safety procedures and performance guidelines that uphold their prestigious organization.
