Meet The Providers Of Elite Women’s Health
Your Elite Women’s Health clinical ob/gyn team includes four physicians, Dr. Stadulis, Dr. Patel, Dr. Te Paske, and Dr. Butz. Our nurse practitioners are Courtney Miller, Lauren Backy, Julie Flanagan and Ashley Baker. Lauren, Julie, and Ashley are certified nurse midwives, offering patients a wide array of midwifery care, low intervention birth, and delivery.
Our OB/GYN Physicians
Leedylyn Stadulis, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Leedylyn Stadulis was born in the Philippines and grew up in New Jersey. She received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Rutgers University and worked as a neonatal intensive care nurse for one year prior to starting medical school. Dr. Stadulis earned her medical degree in 1994 from The Medical College of Georgia. She completed her residency training in OB/GYN at The University of North Carolina affiliate, New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
Dr. Stadulis has been board certified in OB/GYN since 2001 and continues her yearly certification. Her specialty interests include minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometrial ablations, high risk OB and general infertility.
Dr. Stadulis enjoys going to the beach and lake with her family.
Zeenat Patel, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Zeenat Patel is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who has been serving the Fredericksburg area since 2005. After attending The George Washington University for her undergraduate degree, she graduated from the University of Sint Eustatius Medical School. She completed her Ob/Gyn residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and then moved back to the East Coast to start working in private practice. She is also a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Patel is extensively trained in minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic hysterectomy, and in office procedures. She is the only female surgeon in the Fredericksburg area using the DaVinci robot for hysterectomy surgeries. She performs endometrial ablations. In her office practice she takes a special interest in routine and high risk pregnancies, adolescent and teen female health, general gynecology including abnormal bleeding, contraception, well women check ups, and abnormal pap smears.
She is happily married and lives in the Fredericksburg area with her husband, son, and daughter.
Jonas Te Paske, M.D.
Jonas Te Paske was born in St. Paul, MN and grew up in New Jersey. He obtained an undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Connecticut. He went on to complete his Ob/Gyn residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
Dr. Te Paske has been trained in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, including robotic, laparoscopic and vaginal hysterectomy, hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation. He also enjoys routine and high-risk pregnancy care and supporting collaborative decision-making with his patients.
Dr. Te Paske loves to bike and play the guitar, piano and racquetball. He and his wife, a horticulturalist, live in Fredericksburg and enjoy movies.
Anh Butz, M.D.
Dr. Anh Butz is delighted to be a part of Elite Women’s Health where she can continue a lifelong passion of advocating for women and their needs. She began her career at Yale University with a double major in Behavioral Neuroscience and Organic Chemistry. From there, she went on to earn a master’s in Bioengineering as well as her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her Ob/Gyn residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. After discovering its historical charm and all it has to offer, she is thrilled to finally call Fredericksburg home.
Dr. Butz thoroughly enjoys taking care of women through all stages of life, and she has special interests in reproductive endocrinology as well as high-risk obstetrics. During residency, she was recognized by the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine for her contribution to high-risk care. She has presented research at national conferences in her specialty and subspecialty fields.

Courtney Miller WHNP, BC
Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Courtney A. Miller is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since 2007. Courtney grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska attending the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002. She worked as a labor/delivery, nursery, mother/baby RN for several years in Nebraska. Her love of women’s health care led her back to UNMC to obtain a Master degree in Nursing. While at UNMC, She was honored as “Who’s Who” among students in American Universities and Colleges. She graduated and completed board certification in Women’s Health in May, 2007.
Since completing her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certification, Courtney has practiced at both OB/GYN practices and as the lead Nurse Practitioner at a Breast Health Clinic in Chicago, IL from 2009-2014. She received specialized training in benign and malignant diseases of the breast. This specialized training has given her the knowledge and the passion to become an advocate for women in the prevention of Breast Cancer. She specializes in identifying patients who are at “high risk” for Breast Cancer & developing patient care plans based off that patient’s personal health history. High risk patients are offered on- site counseling, BRCA testing, and other specialty referrals.
Courtney joined Elite Women’s Health in May, 2014. She lives in Spotsylvania with her husband and three children. She enjoys the outdoor activities that Virginia has to offer such as trail running and road races.
Lauren Backy, CNM, WHNP, BC
Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Lauren Backy is a Virginia native and a board certified Women’s Health Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. She completed her undergraduate education at James Madison University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Lauren completed her graduate work at Georgetown University in 2014 with a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Women’s Health and Midwifery. She has been board certified in Women’s Health and Midwifery since February 2015.
Lauren’s training has prepared her to support women’s healthcare needs throughout the lifespan. She has special interests in adolescent health and pregnancy, heart health, breastfeeding, and low intervention labor and delivery. She lives in Ruther Glen, Virginia with her husband and enjoys hiking, kayaking, biking, and traveling to state parks.
Julie Flanagan, CNM, WHNP, BC
Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Julie Flanagan was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and grew up in Crofton, Maryland. She achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Columbus State University in 2009 and subsequently served as an officer in the United States Army for 9 years, predominantly as a labor and delivery nurse. Her passion for women’s health and maternity care inspired her to complete a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a focus on Women’s Health and Midwifery at Georgetown University. She graduated with honors and was board certified in Women’s Health and Midwifery in May 2019.
Julie’s experience has equipped her to serve women in life, pregnancy, and birth. She is passionate about pregnancy, breastfeeding and low intervention labor and delivery. She is also dedicated to family-centered care and ensuring women have a positive birthing experience. Julie lives in Stafford, Virginia with her husband and two children. She enjoys paddle boarding, reading and family game nights.
Ashley M. Baker, NP, CNM
Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife
Ashley was born and raised in central Arkansas. She completed her initial degree to become a registered nurse at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2010. She focused her nursing career primarily on women’s services in labor and delivery and postpartum care. Labor and delivery sparked a passion in Ashley to empower women, so she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing from the oldest and largest continually operating nurse-midwifery education program in the United States, Frontier Nursing University. Ashley graduated from Frontier in the fall of 2019 and immediately passed her board exam to become a Certified Nurse-Midwife.
Ashley completed her clinical training with Elite Women’s Health and knew early in her training that she wanted to be a member of our team. Prior to joining Elite, Ashley also worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery at Mary Washington, so she has been serving this community since her Navy husband was stationed here in 2018. Ashley has a passion for breastfeeding support, teenage reproductive health and pregnancy, shared-decision making, family-centric care, and empowering labor and birth. Ashley also takes interest in providing welcoming and respectful care for our LGBTQIA+ community.
Ashley and her husband and four children live in Dahlgren, Virginia with their beloved dog and cat. The Baker family loves outdoor adventures, family game nights, and random dance parties.
